🎧 Finding Me — Episode 52Aging with Grace (…and a Few Sound Effects)

In Episode 52 of Finding Me, Josh takes a moment to reflect on something we’re all doing whether we like it or not:

Getting older.

But here’s the thing—Josh is actually doing a pretty good job of aging with grace.

Sure, there are a few new developments. For example, he now makes little noises when he stands up. Also when he sits down. And occasionally when he bends over to pick something up. But other than the new soundtrack of middle age, life feels… good.

There’s a calm in his life now. A sense of peace. A deeper appreciation for the small things.

But if there’s one thing that truly makes Josh feel old, it’s not his back or his knees.

It’s the age of his kids.

Because somehow—without asking anyone’s permission—they’ve grown up. And Josh could swear that just yesterday they were toddlers running around the house, needing help tying their shoes and asking questions about everything.

Now they’re adults. And time, as always, moved faster than anyone expected.

It’s a thoughtful and funny episode about perspective, family, and the strange realization that aging isn’t always about feeling older—it’s about watching the people you love grow up right in front of you.
