The dynasty of Chandravansh was established by Ila, the first child ofVaivasvata Manu and Pururava, son of Chandraputra Buddh. Ayu, son ofMaharaja Pururava and Apsara Urvashi, took over the kingdom. Ayu was ajudicial and dedicated king who followed Rajdharma the same way as hisfather. Even after attaining so much opulence and splendor, the heart of theking was always saddened as he was childless. He would worry about hiskingdom as without an heir, who would look after his dynasty?
