Growing up in the Mormon church, Jamie had it engrained in her that to have a connection with God, you had to go to church. Having issues with organized religion, as many people do, Jamie wondered if she could still have a spiritual side to her. To her surprise, she’s found that she has a stronger connection with God now than she ever did while attending church. This new connectedness has opened her eyes to many things, including the difference between happiness and joy, which we’ll discuss in this episode.
