In this episode we are joined again by Pastor Matt Chandler to introduce our upcoming sermon series, “Thrones and Thorns.” With the upcoming contentious election cycle, Pastor Matt highlights the importance of guiding the Church through politically charged environments and focusing on grace, prayerfulness, and the distinction between God’s kingdom and earthly empires. We will also briefly cover the overall outline for the 6 week series. Lastly, we also address the challenges group leaders face during politically charged times, emphasizing the need for intentional and constructive conversations with group members and offer encouragement and hope.
