In May 2019, the tragic disappearance and murder of 15-year-old Riley Crossman from Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, shocked her community and drew national attention. Riley was reported missing on May 8, and her body was found a week later along a remote hillside in Berkeley County. The investigation quickly turned toward those close to her, and within days, authorities arrested her mother's boyfriend, Andrew "Andy" McCauley Jr.
