Description

With lightning, there is thunder. With death, there is grieving. It's a natural part of life. We covered in the last episode the rituals that come with death. Traditional Judaism urges mourners to bury their loved ones so that their souls could be put to rest as soon as possible. There are other traditions and customs that stem from the Torah. But what does the Torah say about the recovery process after the fact?

Inspirational coach Zach Faerber is no stranger to grief. After having been orphaned at a young age, he applies his personal experience to his expertise, helping those that suffer to better their quality of life in numerous ways. Host of Bad Jew, Chaz Volk, joins Zach in questioning the regimented outline of the grieving process the Torah provides. Faerber shares his personal journey while also allowing us to see into his life on how he grieves while maintaining a positive and happy life.
