This week we're revisiting Daisy's interview with Hospice Nurse Julie from March 2022.
For over 10 years, Julie McFadden has worked as a nurse - first working in Intensive Care Units and, more recently, working in end-of-life care (also known as palliative care) in hospices, where her role is to ensure that patients have the most comfortable end to their life.
Using the pseudonym "Hospice Nurse Julie", Julie has taken to TikTok and Instagram over the past year, racking up nearly 1M followers, to explain some of the common phenomena that happen when we die and to answer questions about the stages of dying to bring comfort to those seeking.
In this interview, Daisy and Julie explore how the human body prepares for death and how to find comfort in it.
