What an amazing week! Coming off the well received Sustainability Week Event, Niantic followed up by dropping a few news bombs! We begin with the announcement of GO Fest 2021 in July, which will be another 2 day, virtual, global event. We put on our tin foil hats and speculate on what we the event could include. Not to be outdone by their own announcement, Niantic then shares their Mary event outline which is a significant format departure from what we saw in April.
We learn about our Research Breakthrough and Spotlight Hour Schedule. The Luminous Legends X Event brings us a bunch of new Pokemon and features and will last 2 weeks! It seems that Niantic is taking community feedback seriously and putting it into action!
Our Poke The Bear segment this week asks the community what they would like to see Niantic implement in the game and the community didn’t disappoint! From requests to improve communication, to avatar customization, to even some digs at the company, we share your feedback and have a blast in the process!
