Just like that we have Hidden Gems coming to a close! We recap our last week of gameplay including our experience with Global GO Fest and how the Season is ending on a high note! Niantic isn’t slowing the pace down at all as we have a brand new Season to discuss, Adventures Abound! An absolutely packed September will keep us very occupied as we adjust to the encounter and bonus shift for the next three months.
Some of the most exciting early news on the Season is that we have the ability to earn another Master Ball! This comes to us through a very lengthy Timed Research which reopens the conversation around difficulty in Pokémon GO. We have mentioned before that investments of time, daily play, and money are the typical factors that make this game easier or harder for its Trainers. This new Research will test how we combine those three factors to complete the significantly long tasks!
The new Season also brings a jump over Gen 8 to Paldea, as we have a fresh beginning featuring the Paldean starters! Niantic has made this feel like a fresh starting point for new Trainers and a way to really spice things up for existing Trainers. We discuss our thoughts on how Galar is taking the back seat to Paldea, and how a bunch of new Pokémon being released is an exciting way to get Trainers in front of their phones.
Adventures Abound also brings us a very large GBL move update with new moves and a ton of availability that is sure to shake up the meta! We will have to see over time who the new winners are and how the cups play out over the next three months!
