In Ancient Chinese philosophy, Yin and Yang is a concept that describes how opposite forces can be complementary and interconnected in the natural world. Yin/ Feminine energy can be tapped into with rest, a night time routine, stillness and relaxation. Yang/ Masculine energy can be brought on by rigidity in diet/ training, goal achievement, a morning routine structure and rules. Both are great and serve a purpose, but if our energy is out of balance, we may find we are susceptible to illness, unregulated emotions, poor relational dynamics or even burn out.
