Ryan Lavarnway was a journeyman during his major league career. The catcher had stops in Boston, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Oakland, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Baltimore, and Miami. Lavarnway also played an integral role on Team Israel in many World Baseball Classic’s. Lavarnway joins Behind the Seams as we sit down to discuss his path to Yale through the Red Sox organization to ultimately becoming a journeyman in the Major Leagues and now all the incredible work he is doing as a color commentator with the Colorado Rockies.
