Could the music of independent artists being played on a radio station in a small city help that small city bloom again? I definitely think so!
We closed out last week’s show with a quote by P.T. Barnum “No one ever made a difference by being like everyone else.”
In what seems like a long time ago, radio stations used to introduce listeners to new music, to new artists. I think that can still play a major role for radio stations, I mean that’s something that we do on a weekly basis here at Radio Free Brooklyn, but I think that now, in addition to introducing new music and new artists, radio stations also need to introduce their city to their listeners.
