Monday's show marked the launch of a new segment on The Rodent Hour - a live music session recorded exclusively for our listening audience. We're kicking things off with The Judex, a rock 'n' roll band with elements of soul, garage, psychobilly and proto-punk. The Judex recorded four killer tracks for us, including two new ones that will appear on their upcoming EP. I miss the energy of live music, the sense of community it provides and I don't want people to forget how important the live music industry is for so many people.

The Rodent Hour is an homage to the friends that I made during my misspent youth, those lifelong friends who joined me on those weekend nights so many years ago and whose eclectic tastes still influence the selection of artists and music that is featured on the show.
When not dealing with the restrictions of Covid-19 The Rodent Hour features interviews with independent musicians along with a curated playlist of music from Brooklyn and beyond the borough.
Tune in every Monday evening at 8 PM EST (UTC-5) on Radio Free Brooklyn.
