I’ve done 31 sound mashups for my radio show this year. They’ve spanned high to low, movies to politics, TV to hip-hop, jazz to literature, pop to classical, Spanish to English, French to Portuguese, ironic to sincere, nostalgic to obscure.
I boiled everything down to an hour of sonic expression, which will air at 10am EST, this Saturday, on my radio show, Race to the Bottom.
I’ve loved taking notes of every obscure song, movie quote, or meme that popped up during each week, and then forming that errata into some sort of aesthetic whole. This photo collage represents a tiny fraction of who you will hear.
