Description

Cynthia Carrasco joins us this week to share some of her own divorce experience, and what other women should know if they’re thinking about leaving their own marriage. Cynthia is a first-generation college and law school graduate and an attorney who has worked in juvenile defense, immigration, family law, and civil rights. She also has experience going through her own journey with divorce. Everyone deserves to feel safe and healthy in their relationships, and Cynthia hope that sharing her own divorce story can help other women feel empowered to stand up for themselves. Divorce is still surrounded by stigma in the Latino community, but we hope that conversations like this one with Cynthia can help break the stigma.
