Hop Products Australia has completed its 2021 hop harvest. HPA picked 675 hectares totalling1,526 metric tonnes of hops.
They saw an increase in acreage harvested, but a decrease in yield and saw a significant increase in tonnage in Galaxy, Vic Secret and newcomer Eclipse, but a decline in Ella that will see issues around contracted volumes. This year was also notable for the end of classic alpha hop, Super Pride.
