The offseason is here, so why don't we walk you through what we believe would be the ideal offseason for the Pittsburgh Steelers?! We both go through current players on the roster we would extend such as TJ Watt and DeShon Elliott, if there is anybody such as Larry Ogunjobi we would cut and if there's any pending UFAs such as Justin Fields we would like to retain.
We then dive into free agency where we'd like to check boxes as cornerback via the likes of Asante Samuel Jr. and Nate Hobbs. Could Milton Williams make sense along the defensive line? Will they add to the WR room via free agency or the draft in the form of Darius Slayton or Deebo Samuel? Could they have a FA RB on their radar? Should they make a splash for a Mekhi Becton to upgrade upon Mason McCormick and provide tackle depth?
The NFL Draft is up next. Who is the ideal pick at 21? Is it Emeka Egbuka or Kenneth Grant or somebody else? Depending on which direction they go there, how could they check the boxes the rest of the way?
