The Pittsburgh Pirates are off to a 5-1 start through the first week of the MLB season. Manager Derek Shelton has pushed a lot of the right buttons, the lineup has come through time and time again and they always seem to have an answer. The bullpen depth has been tested but has been as good as advertised. Jared Jones had a stellar MLB debut and looks to carry that over into his second start, which will be the team's Home Opener. Connor Joe, Michael A. Taylor, Bryan Reynolds, Ke'Bryan Hayes and Oneil Cruz have all gotten off to great early starts. Aroldis Chapman is still hitting triple digits.
