The Pittsburgh Pirates continue to get great starting pitching from Paul Skenes, Jared Jones, Mitch Keller and Bailey Falter (despite the Dodgers getting to him a little bit). The bullpen, however, continues to cost the team games every single week. The argument could be made that Colin Holderman and David Bednar are the only two reliable arms out of the pen right now. While they couldn't have foreseen injuries to Ryan Borucki and Dauri Moreta, this is why you can never have enough arms. Henry Davis and Jack Suwinski have rejoined the club and hope some adjustments made in AAA lead to improved results up here. Nick Gonzales continues to look like a new player in 2024.
