Also a P.hD in Asian Arts and philosophies (unrecognized field of study) from the university of Hawaii.
Started karate and kobudo in 1982
originally under O sensei Richard Kim with the Zen Bien Butokukai.
First came to Okinawa in 1993. 7th Dan Renshi in Meibukan Gojyu-Ryu and long time member of the IMGKA, the
International Meibukan Gojyu-Ryu karate-do association. Studying Gojyu since 1982 and Meibukan since 1989 under 3 generations of Yagi family.
