We are so excited to start this beautiful book, Firekeeper's Daughter by Angeline Boulley. We intentionally chose this book for the month of June as a way to honour Indigenous Heritage Month; with recent events it has become quite timely and more important than ever to do our part. We know that we will be discussing some difficult topics, and are hoping to do so with grace, care, and empathy. This week we are chatting about Chapters 1-13.
