Greta Gerwig's phenomenon BARBIE hit theaters this past weekend and has since had one of the biggest opening weeks of the century! Not only has it been wildly successful, but it's also an incredible film that effectively deconstructs Barbie and Mattel for our contemporary time. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are perfectly cast as Barbie and Ken. In the film, Barbie enters the real world to try and repair the barrier between it and Barbieland, by finding and connecting with the little girl who is playing with her. What could go wrong!?
