Steven Spielberg's most underrated film is possibly "Catch Me If You Can", which he released in 2002. It was nominated for two Academy Awards (Chrisopther Walken and John Williams) and had an impressive box office over $350 million, but when people think of Spielberg's best films this modern classic is seldom on any lists. It's definitely on ours! Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks, this film tells the incredible true (or conned) story of Frank Abagnale Jr. who by the age of 19 stole over $2 million from the U.S. government with fraudulent checks while impersonating a Pan-Am pilot, a doctor and a lawyer. How much was true? It's hard to say, but damn does it make for a greta movie.
