On this episode of Latinos Out Loud Rachel is joined by one of the founders of the Sketch Comedy Festival Alliance, Damien Nelson. The two friends go back to the pre-pandemic days where Rachel first performed at the Toronto Sketch Festival in 2020. Since then Rachel‘s all-female variety show has also participated in the Toronto Sketchfest, virtually, over the pandemic.
The two discussed the state of Sketch comedy in both Toronto and New York City, as well as how Sketch comedians can get involved in this alliance which will bridge the gaps among the different schools and conduits of sketch comedy
