On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Dan talks with the Urban Bowman, Taylor Chamberlin of Washington D.C. about deer trends he has identified throughout the years while bowhunting. Taylor hunts over 150 days each year in an area where the deer head is very overpopulated and the tag allocation is liberal to say the least. They guys kick off the episode with Taylor talking about trends that he sees after a deer has been shot. They discuss the difference is the deers reaction depending on if it was a heart, lungs, liver, or gut shot.
With that many days in a tree he spends a lot of time just observing deer behavior. Taylor talks about how deer react to pressure, how they move through terrain, and also shares some crazy stories behind the bow. Excellent episode that is not only entertaining , but educational as well. Enjoy!
