Unless you have been living under a rock, most of us in the deer hunting community have heard of the Quality Deer Management Association. If you have ever listened to the content coming out of the Sportsmen's Nation, you have most likely heard of the National Deer Alliance and their CEO, Nick Pinizzotto on our platform to talk about whitetails and conservation efforts in North America.
On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Dan is once again joined by Nick as he talks about the recent merger between the National Deer Alliance and the QDMA. Currently this new organization does not have a name. Nick talks about where the idea for the merger came from, their new mission, their short and long term plans, as well as if the COVID-19 virus played a role in the merger.
Nick also answers questions pertaining to the QDMA's current employees, volunteers, and chapters, and breaks down his ideas on fundraising and the continuation of the QDMA local chapters. He explains that any and all conservation projects that are currently in the pipeline are still a go and expresses how excited he is to get back to work in this newly created organization.
