Brett Smith lives in Kentucky but has been driving to Missouri for the past 4 years to take advantage of their public hunting land. On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Brett shares the story of his 2019 early season hunt in the Show Me State.
Brett talks about the importance of doing as much scouting as possible before, during, and after the season to gain knowledge about the terrain and deer movement. Focusing on new and old sign and historical data from past hunts, he was able to put all the pieces of the puzzle together that led to him harvesting a beautiful buck on the first day of the hunt.
