On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Dan interviews Chris Van Natta of Oklahoma about the booner he harvested in December. He tells the story of how his dad decided to buy the 55 acre property in 2016 and how Chris and his brother we excited to start hunting it.
With a creek running through the middle of the property they quickly learned it was difficult to hunt as far as access was concerned with steep banks and quick rising waters. There were several time in the last three year that flood waters absolutely ruined the hunting on the farm leaving then to hunt elsewhere.
Throughout this episode you learn about the three year history of a buck they gave the name "Chupacabra". This buck was nocturnal 90% of the time on the farm and even went MIA for most of the 2018 season.
