One of the toughest things for most entrepreneurs is to delegate and give up control. When starting a business this is good, because it requires a lot of effort, focus, and drive to get a new business started and this get-it-done-myself attitude helps in the beginning.
But the same need for control that helps get our business started, also becomes an obstacle to growth because we become the bottleneck trying to do everything ourselves. The key is to find the balance between control and delegation, and to understand what should and shouldn't be delegated and have a process for how to do it.
