We’ve got lots of new things coming for 2022, but before we get into that I wanted to take a look back at our early episodes and rerelease my top 10  picks for the month of December.  To be clear, picking my favorite episodes is like picking my favorite child—it’s impossible--so I based my decision on 3 criteria, 1) interviews of women who overcame something outside of the regular struggle of running a business,  2) a unique industry the guest disrupted and 3) guests that were just as much as teachers as storytellers.
I hope you enjoy these episodes and please be sure to follow us on Instagram where we will be rolling out our big news throughout December. I want to keep you, our podcast family, in the loop.
Our eighth episode in this throwback series is my conversation with Ryan Larson, the founder and CEO of Tin Parade and Savoir Flair Weddings. I included this interview with Ryan to show you how one thriving business can lead to another business opportunity. As a wedding planner, Ryan knew how to elevate large-scale events, but she became interested in creating products to help us elevate events at home. In this episode, Ryan shares the challenges of communicating high concept products to buyers and talks about how she cleverly overcame that as she grew Tin Parade. She shares the difficulty in starting up in an industry that's unfamiliar and offers tips that will help you stand out at trade shows in particular if you're at all interested in producing products, wholesaling products, and selling at trade shows. This is a must-listen. Ryan will definitely bring the goods.
Enjoy the show.
