Dr. Nancy Allen became a GP in 2002 and climbed the ranks to become a partner and GP educator. At that stage of her life, she was working incredibly long hours, while looking after a young family. The stress eventually led to her burning out and ending up in a hospital bed. That shocking experience led to her recalibrating and becoming an entrepreneur.
She taught herself how to make money from property. Starting out by using the Buy to Let (BTL) model. Nancy later added Serviced Accommodation (SA) to the mix. That business took off, but Nancy wanted a fresh challenge, so began developing and creating new homes.
In under 5 years, Nancy went from zero to owning a 7-figure property portfolio. Today, she runs that business alongside her experienced team, which has freed her up to work as a GP once again.
