Rather than just giving instructions there’s this empathy that takes it to another level. We need to be mindful of how we communicate, the tonality, words being about 7% of communication, 38% is tonality and the remaining 55% is made up of physiology. All that comes into play when we’re talking about mindful communication.
This LEG is one of 10 that has been set up because it’s so powerful. However, there’s something that overrides it all: not being attached to the outcome. We can have that intention, create that strategy, plot that journey, but things happen that we’ve not planned for. It’s crucial not to get attached to the outcome. The vast majority of us humans want to control the situation and we create a whole story about how the outcome will be.
We can find it painful to be in a comfort zone of self-protection around our identity, our expectations, our ego, etc. Then to actually face the reality when you start to peel back the layers that I’m actually not that personality, I’m not that script. That is the epitome of awareness raising, then when we go on that journey of self-enquiry, self-discovery it’s not being attached to the outcome.
