Jeannette has joined Colin today for a candid discussion about the importance of health and safety in all business sectors, the impact of COVID-19 upon the travel industry, and the empowering ways in which we can increase diversity in the workplace.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
Health and safety is a particularly core aspect of the travel industry. The burden of care is often upon those responsible for organising holidays, and even the tiniest elements of travel and accommodation must be accounted for.
Trust, openness and honesty, are key to making sure our customers feel secure and comfortable. But it’s equally as important to nurture those values for our workforce.
Coronavirus has demonstrated to the world that health and safety is of crucial importance to all aspects of our lives. Never has safety in the workplace been under more scrutiny.
Increasing diversity of any kind is an incremental process, and must be steadfastly maintained, built upon the core value of ensuring that diverse role models are visible and respected.
