Description

It’s mostly the teeny-tiniest stuff around us we don’t really give importance and also at times, it’s these stuff that pose much threat and hazard… For example, viruses, bacteria, and even insects can be deadly.
In construction, it’s the accumulation of dust in the workplace that needs attention. This can cause respiratory diseases to those who are involved. As much as possible, we must ensure the health and safety in the workplace. Colin and other influential people in the industry have collaborated and formed Construction Dust Partnership, or CDP, to bring awareness to this prevalent issue. There’s still too much to learn not only for the new ones but also for those who are at the forefront.
Today, Colin and his colleagues discuss more on CDP’s role in the (healthier and safer) future of the construction industry so tune in.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
Construction Dust Partnership (CDP) was formed to raise awareness and promote ways of preventing work-related respiratory diseases caused by construction dust.
It’s important that people prioritise the health and safety of everyone and start ways on how to maintain them. Start by educating and training them to follow proper measures.
CDP bridges the gap and gives clearcut solutions to any technical questions, especially on construction dust. They make sure that all the information are  up-to-date and easily accessible.
BEST MOMENTS

“The education element is critical not for new people who are just entering our industry, but those who have been around for the long time.”

“We need to be solutions-focused as well.”

“When you get to the subject matter, when you start explaining to them and you talk to them as human beings, the passion comes across.”
