Yorvit Torrealba etched his name into Rockies lore as the primary catcher in 2007 while carving out a solid career in purple. Despite being a platoon catcher behind Chris Ianneta, Torrealba always made the most of his playing time.
Jonathan Lucroy was a great trade acquisition at the deadline in 2017, immediately impacting a young pitching staff and navigating them to the playoffs. What made him better was that he found some offensive resurgence after the trade, even though the power wasn't there, and made us wish we could have re-signed him.
