Ali and Ever sit down with FirmTech's own Dr. Justin Elliot and talk about sex, pleasure, sexual health and CENTAURS!
Just a heads up: in this episode, Dr. Elliot—who is a cisgender, heterosexual male—uses some binary and cisnormative language when discussing sex and gender, referring to "penis" with AMAB and "vagina" with AFAB. He also misgenders Ever a lot but not intentionally.
While we did our best to encourage the use of more inclusive terms such as "AMAB/AFAB," "people with vaginas/penises," and to centre non-binary experiences, some of the language may still feel outdated or non-inclusive.
We understand this might be frustrating or hurtful for some listeners. We want to acknowledge that impact, even if there was no harm intended. We found Dr. Elliot to be open-minded, sex-positive, and genuinely trying to engage in a respectful and inclusive conversation.
There is also a brief mentioning of animal testing as well as human testing (Dr. Elliot tested on himself.)
