Description

No one becomes a therapist because they love case notes... but it is an important part of the job. And if you don't have a solid strategy, it can feel like the bane of your exsitence. So let's talk about how to make this not-so-fun task a little bit easier!
On today's episode of Love, Happiness and Success for Therapists, we're talking about how you can streamline your documentation process, find a note-taking system that works for you, and spend more time doing the work you actually love.
Documentation can be boring, but it's not all drudgery. I'm sharing some tips that will make case notes genuinely helpful, and — dare I say — FUN. There's really nothing like the feeling of having it all together at work. Good notes help you clarify your thoughts, keep your clients straight, and provide you with a clear map of the best path forward.
Plus, good note taking habits can significantly cut down on your admin time, and allow you to spend less of your free time thinking about work. It truly has so many benefits!
