Our guest on this episode is Pierce County Deputy Sheriff Dennis Robinson. Deputy Robinson shares his incredible journey from being raised as a “preachers kid”, to a Marine tank specialist, and now a going on 32 years as a Deputy Sheriff with the Pierce County Sheriff Department in Washington State. Deputy Robinson shares his experiences having been assigned to a variety of duties including Patrol, Traffic Division, Court Security, and currently involved with background investigations of new hires for the Sheriff Department. Deputy Robinson also speaks candidly of the importance of having ways to offset the stress of law enforcement, which for him, involves family , friends, and his rural cabin retreat.
