What’s your relationship to apologizing? Is it an empowered relationship from the heart or a disempowered one from the ego? Apologizing tends to imply admitting wrongdoing, which is typically disempowering. In a society that punishes mistakes, our incentive is to avoid apologizing. As a result, less ownership, responsibility, and transparency. Furthermore, we all have personal traumas and disempowering beliefs and behaviors that impact our relationship to being apologetic and unapologetic. But how would our lives be different if we created an empowered heart-centered relationship to apologies?
