Grand vision first, then goals. We often hear the micro emphasis on goals without ample reflection on the macro big vision. This may perpetuate the lack of clarity around our purpose and deeper Why. Visioning and goal setting is a deeply thoughtful powerful process. Even so, we regularly block this process with daily distractions and limiting beliefs. Today, we have a better opportunity than ever before to align with a grand vision that expresses the most authentic version of ourselves.
Vision came first, then goals as a byproduct
Parents being a model of vision
Correlation between self-worth and the size of your vision
“Seeing is believing” is limiting
Wanting more than what our parents created
Wanting a feeling and having tangible things to help create that feeling
Getting clear on the deeper Why underneath your vision and goals
Enrolling others in your vision
No one does great things alone
Staying true to your Why but being unattached to how it unfolds
Thinking of your grandest vision first
