Common images and definitions of aging tend to infer decay or decline of vitality. With it comes a negative or disempowering sense. This may accurately represent change on a purely physical level, but the physical level is often overemphasized in importance. Along with aging comes something far more powerful, wisdom. Wisdom softens the harsh blow of the inevitability of physical decline. What is wisdom? How do we embody it and shift our perspective on aging?
