After a failed school levy in the spring, the Caldwell School District implemented a pay-to-play system for student sports and activities. Cross country coach Alexis Martinez is talking with our host Lindsay Van Allen about how this new system is affecting students, and why he thinks the district fell short on getting the levy passed. Plus we find out how he’s using the nearly $10,000 he raised for student athletes there.
