Description

The 2024 presidential election cycle took a turn when President Joe Biden announced on Sunday that he wasn’t running for reelection and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate. Now, all eyes are on Harris as the presumed nominee, and who she might choose as her running mate. One of the names that’s been floated as a possible VP pick is Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. Host Trenae Nuri speaks with Stephen Caruso, state Capitol reporter for Spotlight PA, and Julia Terruso, political reporter at The Philadelphia Inquirer, about Shapiro’s accomplishments and controversies, and how likely it is that he’ll join Harris on the Democratic ticket.
