Clinton Street Theater in Southeast Portland has been around for over 100 years, making it one of the oldest continuously operating movie houses in the United States. A year ago it was bought by seven film fanatics, a group that included former employees and volunteers. Today we’re talking with two of the new proprietors — Susan Tomorrow and Aaron Colter — to check how it’s going as they come up on their one-year anniversary of running the historic theater.

Here’s a list of all seven owners and their favorite films with ties to Portland:
David Gluck, co-owner: “Free Willy”
Steven Williams, co-owner: “Old Joy”
Tom Kishel, co-owner: “Five Easy Pieces”
Susan Tomorrow, co-owner: “Foxfire”
Aaron Colter, co-owner: “Green Room”
Morgan McDonald, co-owner: “Leave No Trace”
Muriel Lucas, Church of Film curator: “Drugstore Cowboy”
