We discuss the similarities (and differences) between this movie and Top Gun, long for the days where we can do some good old-fashioned wheelchair racing, and celebrate our first (of three) Cruise/Kidman on-screen pairings. We also talk about the Scott Brothers’ (and Hans Zimmer’s) absolute domination of the 1990s, and lament that Tony Scott never got to direct Tom Cruise in a Mission: Impossible movie.
