Helping others doesn’t just make the world better — it makes us better.
Way back in episode 5, I shared the HOPE acronym that my friend O’tion created. It stands for Help One Person Everyday and I wanted to remind myself and you why that’s so important, not just for others but for ourselves.
When we reach out a hand, offer a kind word, or share what we know, something subtle but powerful happens. We stop focusing on what we lack and start noticing what we already have to give.
Helping others builds connection. It reminds us we’re not meant to do life alone.
It sparks gratitude, because generosity and appreciation are two sides of the same coin.
And it often gives us the perspective we didn’t even know we needed.
