Description

The guys from Dawgman.com - Kim Grinolds, Chris Fetters, and Scott Eklund - got up super early this morning to get a full preview recorded ahead of the Portland State-Washington game, set to start at 1 pm at Husky Stadium.
They start with a look at Washington's offense, looking specifically first at the offensive line and whether or not Jaxson Kirkland will get a lot of playing time against the Vikings. Then the talk moves to the running backs and the quarterbacks. How will the UW coaches approach mop-up time, if there is any? Will Dylan Morris come off the bench again, or will they give those snaps to Sam Huard?
After a break to help pay some bills, the conversation moves to the defensive side of the ball and specifically how the Huskies can try and contain PSU quarterback Dante Chachere. They had their moments of difficulty getting Kent State quarterback Collin Schlee down, and Chachere is an even bigger threat to run.
And how will the Huskies account for the loss of Jordan Perryman if the transfer cornerback can't go after getting banged up versus KSU?
To finish the podcast, the three give their final thoughts on the game, the matchups they'll be watching, and also a quick football and basketball recruiting update as the Huskies gear up for a huge visit weekend on September 17 versus Michigan State.
