After studying and performing improv for over ten years, Melinda realized her improv skills were not just showing up in her work as an actress, but in her personal life as well. Melinda has used basic improv skills to help care for her Father with Alzheimer's, to overcome a childhood speech impediment, and to build and maintain self confidence. Melinda is passionate about sharing the power of improv with others. Her improv training includes Second City and the Andy Goldberg Improv Comedy Workshop. She has taught improv at UCLA and currently teaches her, "Improv for Life", class weekly on Zoom. Her acting credits include 'The Office', 'Shameless', and 'The Upshaws'.
