Also at Bellator 290, Johnny Eblen had a star-making performance to defend his middleweight title. Over in boxing, Amanda Serrano defeated Erika Cruz to become the undisputed featherweight champ and set up a super-rematch against undisputed lightweight champ Katie Taylor in Ireland. Also, Alycia Baumgardner beat Elhem Mekhaled to become the undisputed super featherweight champ.
