Reaction to the Padres fun series in Pittsburgh. Tuesday was a long night, as there was a rain delay shortly after the game started. Dylan Cease wasn't able to finish his start but the offense scored six runs and the pitching staff did its job. Jackson Merrill showed up BIG TIME in a wild game two that went to extra innings. Manny Machado and David Peralta homered in the series finale, which ended up being important runs when all things were said and done. We also got news Joe Musgrove will be back as soon as the Miami series. Plus, there is still some uncertainty on when Fernando Tatis Jr. will return and some thoughts on the Jackson Merrill vs. Paul Skenes Rookie of the Year race!
